WFAPA is a 501(3)(C) non-profit organization comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors.

At the conclusion of our Fall Conference, the Board of Directors held its organizational meeting. One of the key topics discussed was WFAPA's budget for the upcoming year. Our overhead expenses, which encompass professional printing, printer supplies, paper, postage, website maintenance, and more, have increased. Additionally, costs associated with conferences, including hotel fees, promotional items, and catering, have also risen. The fees for our speakers range from $500 to $5000, excluding travel and accommodation costs. Similar to the cost-of-living adjustments we all face, our overhead expenses will inevitably increase over time—thanks, inflation!
After considerable discussion, the Board has concluded that it is necessary to revise our membership rates. Effective October 1, 2024, membership dues will change to $35 per household, up from the previous rate of $10 per individual. Memberships purchased before October 1, 2024, will remain at the original rate.
This was a challenging decision, and we fully understand its impact on our members. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and trust that these adjustments will enable us to maintain the high quality of service you expect. As always, we invite any questions or feedback you may have.
