This fall WFAPA will be doing another conference welcoming our foster/adopted/bio teens! Teens and parents will attend workshops geared toward both generations together.

Wisconsin's Youth Advisory Council will be speaking. The Youth Advisory Council is made up of kids who aged out of care or were in care at one time. This is a great opportunity to ask those who know what helped them through that uncertain time of aging out...Bring your questions!

WFAPA will also have a workshop discussing the latest research on teen brains and how they resemble those of toddler/pre-schoolers. (More info on the speaker yet to come)

As always, WFAPA will have a networking session, "YaDa YaDa YaDa" . This is your chance to talk with other foster/adoptive parents and let WFAPA know what your concerns in the Foster Care and Adoption world are.
